Project Manager - IT FinTech Startup

A leading FinTech startup is looking for a Project manager (Technical) who will own and manage end-to-end projects for them. They are looking for a PMP or Prince2 certified PM with strong expertise in running projects.

As the Technical Project manager, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of project management, including planning, scoping, estimating, enhancements, and change control.

Furthermore, you will also ensure projects align with customer KPIs and business requirements, foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will also be responsible to identify risks and opportunities to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery, collaborate across teams, and utilise Agile methodologies to enhance project execution.

Please Note: Engineers with PMP or Prince 2 certification and agile expertise will be preferred along with those who have exposure to oversee Banking Projects.

Key Aspects of the role:

- Manage all project phases: planning, scoping, estimating, and change control.

- Ensure alignment with customer business requirements and KPIs through rigorous adherence to defined scope and best practices.

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.

- Ensure accurate reporting and forecasting for each project.

- Identify and mitigate risks while optimizing project deliver and fostering team communication to clarify dependencies.

- Employ Agile methodologies for backlog refinement, sprint planning, and strategic long-term release planning.

To fit the bill:

- 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in banking.

- Proficient in Agile and other project management methodologies with PMI/PRINCE2 certification..

- Manage end-to-end delivery of projects, coordinating with Tech teams, Product Owners, and QA to achieve desired outcomes.

- Strong influencing skills and exposure working in large organization
