Project Manager
Experience: 6 to 9 years
Location: Bangalore/Coimbatore
Required Skills:
- The ideal candidate should be well-versed in all matters of product development at the software level. The skills valued for this role are:
- Proven experience in Administrative and People Management.
- Experience on project management tools like Microsoft Project Plan(MPP), Gannt Chart, PERT Chart or similar tools.
- Experience in software and task estimation.
- Solid technical background with proven working experience in any automotive electronics area.
- Experience in new product development process and value engineering as per SAE process.
- Should have good knowledge about the test setup requirements and the test bench requirements, for the specific tests.
- Good test results analysis and report compilation skills.
- Excellent Leadership Skills and Presentation Skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Additional Skills:
- Exposure to safety systems in automotive passenger vehicle segment
- Technical articles on public domain
- PMP Certification
- Scrum and Agile Framework Knowledge
- Proven working experience on AUTOSAR concepts.
- Working experience with automotive tools of Vector Canoe, DOORS, MKS Source Integrity or similar tools
Project Manager duties shall include:
- Supervising, managing and motivating team members.
- Provide progress reports of the project to client and relevant stakeholders.
- Risk Management.
- Understand technical and business requirements of the client and identify skills and resources required for the project.
- Technical assistance to the team.
- Evaluate and Identify training required for team members and build the competency map.
- Oversee all project execution procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
- Technical review of work products delivered by team
- Measure project/product performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Coordinate between team and client for the flawless execution of projects.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project/product documentation.
- Ensure timely deliverables from the team with high quality work products.
