Project Manager (Infrastructure and Service Desk)

- Overseeing service desk operations, managing staff and vendors, budgeting, process definition, and tool selection & also handle IT service operations, executive communications, performance monitoring, & SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Establish and maintain project management support services, tailoring the project management approach to team and project needs.

- Analyze project management needs and tailor industry best practices to suit the environment; apply a wide range of traditional and agile principles to provide responsive and effective project management solutions.

- Budgeting as well as resource planning and execution processes, to support customer program planning, decision briefings, and progress assessment across multiple projects.

- Develop templates, procedures, and guidelines for managing project information and deliverables.

- Establish a central repository for project documentation and reporting.

- Work with stakeholders to define clear project objectives and requirements, agree on priorities, communicate progress updates and demonstrations, and provide responsive change management in frequent planning/re-planning meetings.

- Document requirements in business cases, project charters, and project plans; update these documents to record progress and changes.

- Work with cross-functional teams with diverse technical skill sets to support successful project completion; re-plan and adjust project course based on realities of team velocity and dynamic business/user needs.

- Track progress and report on status and metrics at task/work package and project level.

- Create project management dashboard for providing timely progress information to project teams and customer management.

- Raise issues and exceptions, follow-through to resolution.

- Devise clear risk mitigation strategies and engage appropriate stakeholders.

Qualification And Experience :

1. B Tech in Computer Science or or other relevant discipline with Minimum 12 Plus years of Experience & last 4+ years as a Technical Project Manager

2. ITIL v3 Foundation certification and experience in ITIL-based processes & PRINCE2 certification.

3. Successful track record in delivering value through successful project results that meet business requirements.

4. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

5. Excellent attention to detail.

6. Ability to think analytically and independently, providing the thought leadership necessary to introduce incremental and evolutionary change.

7. Able to effectively and confidently communicate - in writing and presentations - complex topics and procedures with team members and all levels of customer stakeholders.

8. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

9. Experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO).

10. Experience in a scientific research and development (R&D) environment with demonstrated ability to analyze problems and propose multiple solutions.

11. Knowledge and hands-on experience of technical implementations of large scale, highly available, robust web/mobile applications.
