We have an opportunity for a Project Manager for one of our client, which provides Healthcare IT solutions that support healthcare industry service and solution providers.
Job Description:
Core Area of Work:
Work Management:
- Should have a good understanding of the IT services delivery and have exposure to agile software development
- Keeps track on a day to day basis of project scope, schedule, effort, risk and cost
- Mitigates issues/risks in a timely manner and ensures optimal utilization of operational and financial resource
- Remains on top of the project capturing all metrics defined tracking for any deviations and applying corrective actions
- Ability to resolve conflicts independently
- Sets and manages SLA compliance very frequently, reports non-compliance promptly and defines change to restore compliance
- Ensures SOW/Contract compliance
- Coordinate resource needs with offshore Delivery manager
- Understands the projects pricing model and billing procedures
Team Management:
- Ability to manage multiple teams, guiding and providing solutions
- Effectively delegates activities within the team and monitors/reviews all tasks
- Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis
- Accurately forecasts team utilization and ensure efficiency
- Ensures streamlined process and communication between offshore and onsite
- Responsible for team members satisfaction and career progression
- Manages attrition at lower than the target levels
- Reviews performance on an ongoing basis, identifying training and development needs
Client Management:
- Ability to orient and adapt to the client environment quickly and make the project delivery meet the business objectives
- Effectively communicates with client ensuring all commitments made are met consistently
- Manages client expectations and keeps high satisfaction
- Ensure all issues are resolved without holding up the project
- Manages and communicates difficult/sensitive client situations tactfully
