Our client has a job opening for one of the top MNC in Healthcare. This is an off role and contract position
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Project Manager will be responsible for streamlining the systems and processes in Finance and Delivery teams of newly established shared service entity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Functions as an advisor to a unit regarding tasks, projects, and operations. Investigates and solve problems that impact work processes and personnel within the assigned unit.
- Get actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedules or to resolve complex problems
- Manages projects of small to moderate scope including schedules, scope, costs and resources. May participate in cross-function teams
- Creates immediate to mid-range plans to carry out objectives established by top management. Schedules human and material resources within a group or section in conjunction with plans to ensure their availability
- Coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders in transitioning of operations (HR, Operations, Facilities, etc.) to GBS.
- Assisting teams in identifying the tasks required for smooth transition process GBS Director to identify tasks required for establishing the new legal entity
- Assisting teams in setting timelines for transition process
- Identifying and resolving issues in meeting timelines in consultation with stakeholders..
- Ensure work is performed within a strong control environment (SOX and general internal controls)
- Act as change management resource to support business for change management communication
- Drive team for regular maintenance/upkeep of Process SOPs/Desk Top Procedures and other process documents
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- University Degree in accountancy or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant work experience (CA preferred)
- Project management experience is must
- Experience in leading process transitions or similar roles in a shared service environment.
- Team management experience would be preferable
- Hands on experience in end to end accounting in a shared service environment
- Solid internal / process control experience (eg. Sox)
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience working with virtual, global, cross-functional teams
- Excellent with MS tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and MS Word)
- Analytical, detailed oriented, accurate with a sense of urgency to complete projects
- Extremely strong fundamentals in Accounting
- Excellent multi-tasking skills. Team-orientation with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in handling end to end process transitions, starting from feasibility to stabilization phase
- Hands on experience for ERP system implementation. SAP experience would be preferred
- Effective managerial & people development skills
- Good written & oral communication skills
- The ability to work in a global environment with a strong customer focus, with experience of pro-actively working with demanding customers in a flexible manner.
- Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement in order to develop succession plan for staff
