Project Manager - Construction (Real Estate) - Global Consulting Firm (MBB) - Contractual Role

Our client, a global consulting firm, is looking for a consultant to support them on a Capital Program Management project for a major real-estate company in India. They are looking for someone with extensive experience in managing large capital expenditure projects in the real estate industry, particularly with firms in the engineering, construction, or real estate sectors.

Below summarises the responsibilities of the consultant:

- Serve as the Project Manager, overseeing construction activities and critical Project Management Office (PMO) tasks

- Resolve key challenges on-site in collaboration with the site teams to ensure smooth operations

- Ensure that project milestones are met according to the established schedule

- Identify and report potential risks and delays to initiate mitigation strategies

- Review and enhance the project schedule for accuracy and completeness

- Facilitate and lead planning and scheduling workshops

- Coordinate across various functions, including the Project Team, Project Management Consultant (PMC), and Design Team

- Establish a governance framework, including conducting reviews, monitoring key metrics, and preparing comprehensive reports

An ideal candidate would have:

- 5 to 10 years of experience in managing large capital expenditure projects in the real estate industry

- Experience with engineering, construction, or real estate firms, or as a project management consultant for construction projects

This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 6-month contract. The consultant will be required to be based in Gurgaon for the entire duration of the project.
