Position Project Manager - CIVIL - OMAN
Purpose of the job
Responsible for overall ownership, management and administration of the assigned Civil Division's project (s). Responsible for ensuring productivity targets, financial objectives & KPIs as set are achieved.
Key Responsibilities & Activities:
1. Responsible for end-to-end management and administration of the assigned project (s) of the Civil Division and associated activities such as but not limited to projects planning and delivery, project P&L, project QHSE matters etc.
2. Responsible for overall program mobilization and delivery, operations, planning, identifying key issues and constraints, setting key milestones, reviewing program progress and giving overall direction to projects
3. Responsible for all external stakeholder management with Clients, Subcontractors, Consultants, Regulators & Governmental authorities. Responsible for driving engaging and result-oriented discussions with stakeholders and bringing solutions and progress to the table
4. Responsible for all internal stakeholder management with HR, PEL, Commercial & Contracts, HSE, Quality, Finance and other associated corporate and Divisional functions to ensure project delivery as per set program and contract expectations. Responsible for ensuring that project related issues and concerns are addressed by routine engagement with respective functions
5. Responsible for ensuring all build costs and associated revenue are accurately planned, forecasted, captured and reported
6. Responsible for all project-specific financial objectives by preparing the annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, initiating corrective actions
7. Responsible for all individual and all project-specific productivity targets, KPIs and attainment thereof.
Other tasks:
1. Promoting Group Values, Code of Conduct and associated policies
2. Participating and providing positive contributions to technical, commercial, planning, safety and quality performance of the organization and by Client, Contractual, and regulatory requirements
3. Periodic visits to Sites & Project locations to discuss operational aspects & issues
4. Undertaking any other responsibilities as directed and mutually agreed with the Line Management.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in the field of Civil engineering
Master's degree in the field of engineering (preferred)
Professional Certifications
Business Management (preferred)
PMP (preferred)
Skills:
A proven work experience as a Project Manager Civil in a similar organization
Strong writing and record-keeping abilities. Strong IT skills. Strong communication, planning & organizing skills
Exceptional leadership skills. Ability to lead and drive the project. Ability to garner Client and Management support and confidence.
Experience:
- 5 years position specific experience
- 15 years of overall professional experience
Language - English (fluent)
