Primarily looking for Project Manager with strong experience in Change Management and Market Risk/ Capital Markets.
Responsibilities:
Process:
- Create a high-performance culture to add value to GBAM Ops through various improvements by bringing together the operational/technical expertise and drive through more efficient ways in Operations
- Work with the global stakeholders to ensure the book of work from India Ops gets prioritized for tech solutions
- Establish and monitor dashboards to perform the review of execution and improvement ideas
- Manage process escalations by working with stakeholders
- Identifies key global and local influencers to ensure work gets delegated to a respective team member
- Manage workload to ensure effective and efficient utilization of technology resources
People :
- Required to maximize the potential within Ops to identify change agents and align talent needs to meet/exceed business goals
- Identify, evangelize and create a team with the right mix of resources across teams for successful delivery of an initiative/project
- Tracks and measures team performance
- Ensure the team adheres to the organizational policies and procedures
- Engages and motivates the team
Stakeholder Management:
- Build good relations with the line of business and technology stakeholders in India by discussing feedback on performance around Operations and Tech collaboration
- Should be able to structure the opinions and actions of key stakeholders gaining their trust and commitment to the desired output
- Takes action to address the concerns of the stakeholders
- Creates an environment of transparency
- Build good relations with internal support stakeholders like HR, Technology etc.
- Set strategic direction
- A person is required to demonstrate a deep understanding of business and leverage it to define a convincing plan for the future
- The individual should also identify opportunities to reengineer, reinvent and add value to the business by translating strategies into definite actions with transparent accountability
- Review the footprint of the technology from Operations perspective and work towards expanding the scope of work
- Pro-actively identify and resolved team issues and concerns
- Keep a tab on upcoming industry developments to identify and mitigate any upcoming issues/risks
Risk Management and Control :
- The individual will need to ensure that offshore change management remains consistent and compliant with country / BAML policies and management standards
- Need to ensure appropriate control and governance is maintained across all India based teams
- The role also calls for strategic partnership with other LoB leaders, wherein s/he will help outline and build the internal service delivery plan PAN India
- Accountable for anticipating and managing risk/reward trade-offs and ensure proper risk disciplines are in place to enhance the bank's reputation among stakeholders
- Be pro-active and engage control partners/ technology to identify and mitigate operational risks
