Job Description
Job Purpose:
The prime job of an executive assistant is to facilitate on decision making and to be the supportive force empowering day-to-day working. The ideal person for this job is a proactive problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management ability along with thorough attention to detail. Another key purpose of this position is to drive common projects on efficiency, new technology, cost saving, best practices, future proofing, etc across the business and ensure institutionalisation of processes.
Key Result Areas:
1. Support: Provide day-to-day support: Preparation of reports, documents, presentation decks, ad-hoc data requests, dashboards, any reports necessary for decision making, proposals, budgets & related activities, proposals for developing contracts and relationships with stakeholders and partners, etc. Tracking industry trends & developing insights to drive differentiation. Conducting bench-marking studies with respect to competitors and international best practices.
2. Project Management: Strategic data gathering, market research, competition overview, preparing reports, gleaning insights from the data, making dashboards, pitch decks & presentations.
3. Initiatives: Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and impact of strategic initiatives taken up by the company. Support business leads in tracking and follow- up on execution of various initiatives.
4. Cross-team collaboration: Coordinating and working with Cross Functional teams to ensure project deliverables.
5. Business performance: Analysis of Business performance as per specified metrics.
6. Tools & metrics: Develop effective reporting metrics and tools to assimilate and present the business performance reports periodically.
7. New initiatives and strategies: Provide support and assistance in developing and implementing new business strategies. Support research on strategic aspects of existing Businesses and aid New Business entry decisions. Evaluate business strategy and recommend actions as and when necessary.
8. External: Providing market intelligence through competitor analysis & market research for internal benchmarking. Be well aware about business competition and competitors positioning in market.
9. Presentations & communications: Support in preparing and/or delivering presentations, business reports, preparing proposals, budgets, business forecasts, etc. Prepare various Business Communication / Industry submissions / Corporate Communication
10. Dashboards & Analytics: Setting up company wide tracking dashboards. Analyse it to deliver actionable insights and define key programs.
11. Other Strategic Projects: Assist by analysing potential projects and other business decisions
12. Administrative support: Scheduling and managing meetings (off-site, on-site, and virtual) spanning time zones & functions
13. Process Improvement: Improve current processes and develop procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
Education :
- MBA from Tier-1 business school with an undergraduate background in engineering
Experience :
- Preferred 1-3 years of experience in a Business Management / Tier 1 Consulting background role
- Experience on co-planning & executing corporate strategies
- Multi-tasking, ability to conceptualize, implement new processes, create - update - follow up, attention to detail, working under stringent deadlines and aggregating and interpreting data
- Abilities in business acumen; strategy formulation and P& L understanding; Financial data comprehension & inference development; project management & team working.
- Strong on analysis of Financials and business metrics
- Should have good sense of time management, planning & organizing, judgement and analysis
- Operational depth also required - will need to work with different teams / businesses to roll out Projects.
