- Responsible for independently leading project teams and managing all activities in a project life-cycle (initiation, planning, executing/ controlling, and closing) associated with projects that are across multiple departments within a line of business segment and medium risk, scope and complexity.
- Responsible for managing a group of projects or a program associated with a business function by integrating the appropriate common threads.
- Consults with business partners to clarify and define project requirements and business case, including development of a statement of work.
- Responsible to facilitate requirements capture, configuration, prioritization and validation of the same with stakeholders.
- Responsible for translating the Scope Statement into Quality Control requirements and define quality measures, checks and balances for project execution.
- Responsible for applying the appropriate effort and schedule estimation techniques to develop critical path driven schedule and devise project control methods to manage the same. Has experience with at least two or three estimation/schedule management techniques.
- Develops and revises project plans and budgets, works with users to understand complex problems and focuses on bringing issues to resolution, escalating as necessary to meet timelines. Creates and delivers presentations to mid-senior level management on project goals and plans, including progress reports.
- Responsible for identifying and performing risk analysis across various project categories independently and recommend multiple risk responses for addressing the same.
- Responsible for negotiating and managing outside vendors. Responsible for simultaneously managing multiple projects operating in different life cycles such as Agile, Waterfall and/or Incremental
