Project Manager

Project :

- Take end-to-end ownership of cross-functional projects, including program definition, roadmap planning, resource planning and project execution.

- Be hands-on in driving the delivery of critical business initiatives, managing all aspects of the project such as project planning, requirements definition, risk management, communication, and implementation planning.

- Be a technical problem solver on the team, identifying innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolving issues and constraints through consensus and sound judgment.

- Work closely with business and operations leadership, including executive leadership at the company, to define the product and provide updates on the program.

- Install best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.

- Project management - prioritisation , planning of projects and features, Stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments.

- Be responsible for making project execution decisions, achieving tactical goals while retaining a strategic focus.

- Coordinate cross-project activities.

- Provide project status and estimates to all stakeholders.

- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, kick-offs, retrospectives, and other standard processes ceremonies.

- Help the team with the story creation, estimation, and planning processes.

- Administrate appropriate project management tools.

Product :

- Manage your business goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team.

- Assess product scope and breakdown product features after careful technical review and team discussions.

- Architect & design technically robust, flexible and scalable solution.

- Estimate development efforts and arrive at timelines aligned with release milestones

- Own deliverables and ensure successful completion with necessary standards

- Act as a liaison between Product, Development and QA teams.

- Creating multi-objective functions that will optimise the efficiency of the multi-modal fleet while providing a delightful commute experience for our customers.

- Demand-supply matching using forecasting models at a hyperlocal level across 500+ cities and multiple commute lines.

- Derive insights and formulate action plans on profiling and tiering, attrition prediction and intervention, aggregation of KPIs and signals, nudges to ecosystem partners address. infrastructure action items and low latency assistance flows to help the partners and commuters deal with exceptional scenarios that they may face in the commute journey.

External :

- Optimising the sourcing and integration strategy for partnering with ecosystem players, seamless self-service onboarding, governance modules, etc.

- Payout and Incentive constructs, including dynamic surges and redundancy planning to mobilise ecosystem partners in case of near-term supply shortages.

- Manage technical collaboration between development team and 3rd party external teams.

Candidate Profile Requirements :

Managerial :

- We are looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial, hands-on Engineering Manager.

- Coaching, mentoring managers and Architects in the team. Good team management skills with ability to multitask, strong problem solving and analytical skills.

- Experience working with Product Managers and UX Designers.

Technical :

- Experience in implementing complex workflows, dashboards, and configurations in a project management tool.

- Candidates from product roles with exposure to transportation, journey planning and mobility are preferred.

- Technically hands-on, with prior experience in scalable architecture.
