Job Summary:
- The role will support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) by driving CFO Office initiatives across Business stakeholders and Finance teams and associated action plan with desired timeliness and quality.
- The PMO will handle confidential information, conduct pre-reviews, ensure that the necessary actions required are being executed, and perform follow-ups with Finance teams and Business teams. It will drive project communications between the CFO and internal/external stakeholders.
- This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Role & responsibilities
1. Driving Finance Initiatives across Business teams and Finance teams
- Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, and other documents for meetings.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Act as a liaison between the CFO and other executives, employees, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Screen emails, responses, action items to ensure that they meet the intent and objective as directed in calls, meetings where the respective matters were discussed.
2. Financial & Business Support
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and board presentations.
- Support budget planning, financial analysis, and data management tasks.
- Conduct research on financial trends, market data, and competitor analysis as needed.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to track deadlines and deliverables.
3. Meeting & Event Coordination
- Organize and coordinate executive meetings, board meetings, and financial briefings.
- Take meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up on deliverables.
- Plan and execute team offsites, networking events, and investor meetings.
4. Communication & Relationship Management
- Draft emails, reports, and communications on behalf of the CFO.
- Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate smooth communication between the CFO and other departments.
5. Project Management & Special Initiatives
- Support strategic projects and initiatives led by the CFO.
- Track and report on key financial and operational projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as an PMO-Finance
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and financial software.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Experience in finance, banking, or investment environments is a plus
