Role: PROJECT LEAD-Waste Management

Job description:

Resource Management:

- Manage allocated project resources, including team allocation, budget management, and technoloy utilization.

- Collaborate with all ecosystem stakeholders in influencing or contributing to this project ensuring effective engagement and alignment with project objective.

- Conduct continuous capacity planning to optimize team skills and resources for successful waste management project delivery.

- Guarantee that all project processes adhere to the various rules and policies governing solid waste management.

- Maintain continuous, uninterrupted support from the central level to project locations, promptly addressing any disruptions through necessary interventions.

- Regularly update and enhance project protocols to align with any bylaws or policy amendments, ensuring compliance with evolving standards.

- Full responsibility of the project team with direct reporting from senior project managers an project managers.

- Regular project updates and reviews with the core project committee.

- Conduct regular assessments of processes, identify ineciencies and execute continuous process improvement.

- De ne and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for project team, partners and other project stakeholders while linking these KPIs to remuneration and incentives as applicable.

- Evaluate and integrate technologies to enhance automation and streamline waste management processes.

- Implement internal audits to assess various project parameters like nance/budgeting, operational KPIs, project compliances, etc

- Collaborate with the QEHS team at SZW for project execution in accordance to the SZW IMS certification.

- Oversee audits focused on data security measures to safeguard sensitive information within waste management projects.

- Conduct audits on project partners to ensure compliance with agreed upon terms and project requirements.

- Regularly visit eld locations to evaluate project execution with a focus to revise project parameters and KPIs through the feedback received.

- Identify potential risks and challenges through the eld visits and revise risk mitigation project plan and develop effective strategies for mitigation and contingency planning.

- Conduct key stakeholder meeting especially with Government, local bodies, private sector, recyclers, partners, etc
