About Our Client

Our client Petronas is a Fortune 500 Malaysian Oil and Gas organization, they have presently entered into a JV with IOCL and are looking to setup their first manufacturing facility in India. At present our client is looking for a Project lead who will head their green field project in India.

Job Description

- Based out of Patalganga and Mumbai Head Office your functional reporting will be to Global Head Office.

This includes during EPCC phase:

- Review approved packaged deliverables and determine requirements for initiating Detailed Engineering Design.

- Update, obtain approval and execute the Project Execution Plan Evaluate Project Team structure, determine key roles and responsibilities, reporting structure.

- Staff Project Team and communicate project expectations to team members.

- Project control- monitoring activities in line with agreed schedule, cost and timing.

- Drive project Quality Assurance Plan, integrate resources, review integrity and completeness and ensure timely completion of deliverables through:

a) Regular project team meetings

b) Regular project team meetings with contractors

c) Scheduled peer assist/ review meetings

- Develop and drive the overall detailed project execution programme; construction/fabrication/transportation and installation.

- Ensure implementation of quality control/HSE/communications plans.

- Ensure all relevant approval or consent from the statutory bodies and/or local authorities and/or government agencies have been obtained.

- Plan Commissioning and Start-up procedure program

- During Start-up Operation Drive Commissioning programme

- Reports/ Assessments Initiate hook-up and pre-commissioning/ start-up and commissioning and handover activities and collate close-up reports

- Ensure contractor prepare handover forms/certificates.

- Measure, communicate and report project status to Steering Committee on monthly basic.

- Prepare and circulate project close-out which should include technical and commercial including cost control aspect of the project, lesson learnt, HSE performance report, contractor performance, contract and financial close-out

The Successful Applicant

- You are an Engineer with in depth experience in green field projects for a Lubricant manufacturer. We are seeking domestic candidates who had strong operational and technical know how. Ideal candidate has 10 years of relevant experience with Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, profession journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients , customers, and the general public.
