Job Overview:

- We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to manage and deliver complex projects while collaborating with key stakeholders and managing cross-functional teams.


- This role involves handling multiple workstreams, ensuring that projects are completed within the agreed-upon time, cost, and quality parameters.


- The Project Lead will be responsible for driving the team through uncertainties and challenges, managing risks, and delivering impactful results across various business processes.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Stakeholder Engagement: Quickly build relationships with sponsors, Program Managers, and key stakeholders to understand their priorities. Effectively communicate project objectives and progress.

- Deliverables Management: Define and agree on project deliverables as outlined by the Decision Review Board or Program Manager. Ensure these are met on time, within budget, and up to the required quality standards.

- Team Leadership: Motivate and lead the project or workstream team during challenging periods. Understand and address barriers to help the team achieve its objectives while managing pressure.

- Risk Management: Identify, manage, and report risks at the project level. Provide timely recommendations to minimize risks and maximize project value.

- Project Communication: Develop and deliver clear, impactful communications for both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure project updates and progress are communicated effectively.

- Resilience Building: Support the project team through setbacks and ensure that they remain resilient and focused on performance recovery.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with programme leadership, business IT, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Address issues such as financing, risk management, resource allocation, and integrated planning.

- Project Monitoring: Track project progress and report metrics, ensuring that all phases of the project lifecycle-from initiation to closure-are handled efficiently.

Technical Skills Required:

- Project Management Expertise: Strong understanding of agile and waterfall project management methodologies. Well-versed in the PM lifecycle, SDLC, Scrum, and Application Development processes. Ability to handle software development projects across multiple streams.

- Project Management Tools: Proficient in using tools and techniques such as Project Charters, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Gantt Charts, etc., to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.

- Documentation & Proposals: Experience in handling Statements of Work (SoW), Proposals, Scheduling, Budgeting, and responding to RFQs/RFPs.

- Risk and Resource Management: Strong skills in risk assessment and resource planning. Ability to mitigate risks proactively and allocate resources effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.

- Technology & Platforms: Exposure to software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms, digital platforms, and familiarity with technology solutions relevant to project management and execution.

- Certifications: PMP / Prince 2 certification is highly desirable. Agile certification is a must.

Soft Skills Required:

- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage team dynamics during uncertain times. Capable of maintaining team morale and focus in the face of obstacles.

- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to develop impactful project communication for stakeholders at all levels, both technical and non technical.

- Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to foresee potential project challenges and take proactive steps to address them.

- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders. Skilled in managing expectations and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strong business acumen, with the ability to think strategically and create value-driven solutions. Ability to innovate and think creatively to drive project success.

- Resilience & Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and remain resilient during setbacks. Proactively adjust strategies to ensure project objectives are met.

- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliverables simultaneously, without compromising quality or deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience managing projects with multiple workstreams and deliverables that impact a collection of business processes or teams, involving both business and technical changes.

- A proven track record of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing teams, stakeholders, and resources efficiently.
