Project Head (Chemical Industry)

- To manage end to end Projects (Green Field / Brownfield) from concept to completion.

- To make Project Proposals.

- To carry out feasibility studies, Cost Estimation for project Proposal Approvals by the Management.

- To identify Contractors / Licensors / EPC / PMC Consultants.

- Manage and deliver the Project including conceptual, basic engineering, detailed design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, and execution on-time, within scope and within budget.

- Overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific project ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

- Defining projects scope, finalizing deliverables and timelines, planning on business readiness and communication strategy, and identifying suitable vendors/contractors for respective engineering discipline.

- Managing projects through all phases of the project life cycle, i.e., requirements, alternative analysis, engineering, design, fabrication, testing, and implementation planning with the help of the team reporting into you.

- Planning for receipt of machinery and equipment to deliver.

- Concurrent execution across multiple locations, Resourcing for project planning and execution.

- Delivering commissioned plant which is ready for operations and obtaining formal acceptance of final deliverables and preparing project dossier- all relevant documents, leanings etc for future reference and Performance monitoring of assets.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE Chemical with 15+ years of overall experience in executing chemical manufacturing projects, preferably petrochemicals projects. You must have experience of managing end to end project lifecycle and capex.

2. Must have the ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry contracts on project-related matters.

3. Strong interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills

4. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively in a professional environment.

5. You should have high focus on safety, legal, compliance requirement to ensure that company and external Health and Safety and building regulations are adhered to throughout the project duration.

6. You should have high commercial and engineering acumen to control costs, to set budgets and to manage delivery of work to required standards.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
