Project Director - Oil & Gas
Education: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 20+ years Experience in Oil & Gas Construction Projects.
Working experience in Contracting companies are preferred.
Nationality - Indian
1. Accountable for overall management and administration of the assigned project (s) in the Oil & Gas Division of the Construction BU. Responsible to ensure productivity targets, financial objectives & KPIs as set are achieved and that all Oil & Gas Divisional processes are running smoothly and promptly.
2. Accountable for end-to-end management and administration of the assigned project (s) in the Oil & Gas Division of the Construction BU and associated activities such as but not limited to projects operations, planning and delivery, project P&L, project QHSE matters etc and ensuring the same standards and Divisional processes are implemented across all assigned projects
3. Accountable for overall program mobilization and delivery, planning, identifying key issues and constraints, setting key milestones, reviewing program progress and giving overall direction to projects
4. Accountable for all external stakeholder management with Client, Subcontractor, Consultants, Regulators & Governmental authorities. Accountable to drive engaging and result oriented discussions with stakeholders and to bring solutions and progress to the table
5. Accountable for all internal stakeholder management with HR, PEL, Commercial & Contracts, HSE, Quality, Finance and other associated corporate and Divisional functions to ensure project delivery as per set program and contract expectations. Accountable to ensure that project related issues and concerns are addressed by routine engagement with respective functions
6. Accountable to ensure all project build costs and associated revenue is accurately planned, forecasted, captured and reported. Responsible for preparing annual budget, periodic MIS reviews and analysis, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, initiating corrective actions
7. Responsible for all individual and specific Divisional productivity targets, financial objectives, KPIs and attainment thereof
8. Participating and providing positive contribution to technical, commercial, planning, safety and quality performance of the organization and in accordance with Client, Contractual, regulatory requirements
9. Periodic visits to Sites & Project locations to discuss operational aspects & issues
10. Developing a deep understanding of the local market; including knowledge of competitors, clients and/or contractors, relative market positions etc.
11. Undertaking any other responsibilities as directed and mutually agreed with the Line Management.
