Project Director - NGO - Bangalore. ( Female Candidates ).

Looking for a Woman leader with a passion for social change. The NGO assists bright girl children to pursue professional education. These are girls who score very high marks in +2 and cannot pursue professional education for need of financial support. The NGO works on making them employable managers at the end of their education. This would not be the highest paying job, but would be an extremely rewarding one.

Key responsibilities of the role:

1. Fund Raising

2. Managing the centre (125 girls who come in batches of 25-50 over the weekend for various kinds of training)

a. Coordinate and organise weekly training and outbound programs

b. Maintain a roster of trainers (SS+HS)

c. Maintain MIS

d. Enable internships for the students

e. Other activities to make them more hireable

3. Ensuring high quality mentor interaction. Identifying and interacting with senior business leaders who would mentor the girls

4. The role initially requires more work on weekends and less on weekdays.

The ideal person :

Female candidate, Ideally between 35-45 years. Passion to work with teenage girl children, Strong social contacts, Ability to mentor the kids.
