About our Client - Our Client is a market leading MNC specializing across engineering, health care and having strong footprints in various other verticals. They are a 3000Cr business in India with operations across 45 countries and have over 1,00,000 employees worldwide. Due to the tremendous growth of their Indian operations they have the requirement of a Financial Controller.

Job Description - This role would be reporting to the Group CFO, as it is essential to the organization and would be managing a team of 8 individuals. Amongst the many responsibilities some are listed below:

- Stepping into a lead role managing operational performance and forecasting on budgets for the set up of the manufacturing plants

- Monthy project costs reports, annual project cost budget and variance analysis

- Commercial approvals on getting the contractors to begin the assignment

- Key person in managing the costing division and planning and providing financial assistance to the plant

- Playing a key role in preparing the section budgets for the plants and challenging financial and business processes to improve the effectiveness of the division

- Identifying the main cost drivers for further productivity potential

The Successful Candidate - You are a Chartered Accountant with 6+ years experience and are currently working as a Project controller had strong exposure to starting up projects with other leading MNC engineering companies.You have worked on projects of more than 300Cr and are confident in leading a business financially and be responsible for the growth of the company. A proven track record across financial accounting experience and ideally a few years managing and supporting the operations and manufacturing side of the business. You are a confident and effective team player who is able to command respect and effectively communicate with management and peers. You have strong track record of success in commercial negotiation and ideally have been involved in the set up of another plant.
