Project Auditor - FMCG/Food Manufacturing Firm

Job Details

Project Audit, within Internal Audit, encompasses a systematic, disciplined approach to the evaluation and enhancement of project management effectiveness. The job location shall be at Kolkata and will entail travel to factories/ project sites across India as and when required. The selected candidate will work in a team comprising of technical and finance professionals and will be responsible for conducting audits at different factory locations and also different phases of lifecycle in various upcoming new projects.

Job Profile:

- Report separately on the project metrics of quality, time, cost, feasibility, sustainability, safety andadherence to Corporate Project Policies.

- Focus on assessment of project risks to make "in- flight" corrections and value engineering possible.

- Recommend key optimization measures in the production processes at various factory locations of the company.

- Suggest optimization in production process encompasses minimizing energy

- consumption, maximum utilization of raw materials by reducing wastes.

- Modification of process components to achieve better quality of products etc.

Candidate Profile

- A first- class Graduate/ Post Graduate from reputed institutions in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Production Engineering.

- 7 to 10 years' experience in electro-mechanical/ production engineering field, preferably in reputed manufacturing industries for foods, paper, pulp, personal/ home care products.

- Ability to analyse existing production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement by process optimisation.

- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for complying throughout the optimisation process.

- Ability to analyse production data and monitor performance metrics to identify trends.

- Capability to develop and implement strategies to optimize production workflows, reduce cycle times, minimize waste and enhancing product quality.

- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, automation and control systems.

- Good knowledge in machinery installation, production stabilisation by conducting performance tests, quality control, in- depth commercial acumen and knowledge of contracts and bill certification.

- Experience in execution of large projects of values of Rs. 100 crores and above in the foods, paper, pulp, personal/ home care industries.

- Cross functional knowledge in services like HVAC, Fire Detection & Protection, Plumbing & Sewerage, etc. will be an added advantage.

Job Location: Kolkata (Will entail travel to factories/ project sites across India)

Salary: Rs.30.0-35.0 Lpa (Although not a limiting factor)
