Progressive Infotech - Financial Controller

We are a mid -tier IT Cloud Transformation and Managed Services Company headquartered in INDIA and subsidiaries in USA and EUROPE .

We are growing rapidly across markets and are embarking on a aggressive global expansion.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data.

The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.

This position will report to the CFO and the Board.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Accounting:

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures laid down by ICAI.

- Experience with creating financial statements on the month-end/year end close process.

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.

- Good understanding of Financial Controls, Auditing and Accounting Operations.

- Knowledge of General Ledger Accounting domain and operational experience with ERPs (SAP).

- Understanding of US GAAP and financial systems is very important.

Leadership:

- Assists in the building of an efficient and professional team of employees within Finance and Accounting Department.

- Conduct regular weekly finance department meetings.

- Provides excellent leadership by differentiates top performers, fosters teamwork and also able to encourages work/life balance.

Finance Insurance, Tax:

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances and publish timely monthly financial statements.

- Knowledge of arranging Funds from Bank, Coordination with bank official, book debts reporting to bank on monthly basis.

- Working knowledge of insurance.

- Manage and comply with state, and central government reporting requirements and tax filings like GST and IT.

Controllership:

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

- To assist proactively with cost control requirements and manage budgets.

- Able to assist with revenue enhancement possibilities.

- Oversees internal, external and regulatory audit processes.

- Controllership functions - Reconciliations, analysis and reporting.

Experience , Skills and Qualification:

- Proven working experience as a controller preferably in any Services Business.

- Preference will be given to candidates in IT/ITES or Software Industry.

- 10 -15 + years of overall combined accounting and finance experience including controllership.

- Education Qualified Chartered Accountant.

- Good Understanding of US GAAP.
