Program Managers/Training Managers for E commerce Training  The job carries responsibility of designing and delivering training programs in E-commerce, Digital Marketing & e-Business areas.   In addition to their training skills, they should be experts in one of two areas:  E-commerce Technical skills - covering technical training such as in Development Platforms, Hosting including firewalls and anti-virus packages, SaaS platforms, Content Management, Payment Gateway integration, etc  Business skills – Marketing, Branding, Business Strategies  The program managers will also be responsible for the application of learning technologies to transfer skills, in both technical and non-technical subjects. These include virtual labs, content management, E-business management tools, Social Networking and E-assessment.  Typical work activities  Trainers will develop expertise within their specialist areas, although those focused on the use of learning technologies could cover any content.  Typical work activities are likely to include:  - Designing training programs as per emerging trends and demand  - Designing course materials and other documents such as handouts, manuals and exercises;  - Preparing the learning environment and resources, including setting up E-commerce infrastructure where appropriate;  - Delivering training programs in both a formal (e.g. a classroom) or informal (e.g. floor-walking) setting;  - Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and learning outcomes;  - Liaison with partners (e.g. external course providers, employers, examining bodies);  - Liaison with corporate's, institutes, trade bodies to understand their training requirement for their employees, members and trade partners;  - Developing peer networks to keep abreast of current thinking;  - Maintaining appropriate records of learner development and resource allocation.
