Program Manager - Strategic Projects - Sourcing Division

Job Description :

- Role requires owning and managing key strategic projects in Strategic Sourcing division (Procurement and partnerships division) with end-to-end ownership including execution with multiple such engagements running in parallel involving internal and external stakeholders

- The area of responsibility would cover Business strategy, strategic partnerships, planning and capability building to deliver improved margins.

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategic Planning : Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and refine the strategic direction for the procurement/ global sourcing division and translate it into actionable project plans. Align project objectives with the overall strategic goals.

- Program Management : Take ownership of the strategic projects owned and managed by you, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling. Coordinate activities across multiple project teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration.

- Manage multiple projects and workflows end-to-end with effective reporting to senior leadership.

- Resource Management : Identify and allocate appropriate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to support the successful execution of strategic projects. Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize project outcomes.

- Risk Management : Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor project risks and take necessary actions to minimize their impact on project delivery and outcomes.

- Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, project sponsors, team members, and external partners. Ensure clear and timely communication of project progress, milestones, and potential issues.
