Title IS Program Manager

Job Description / Information Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Experienced and motivated professional who can manage Agile software Projects working with globally distributed team.

Mandatory Skill Sets:-

Project Management

Strong Project Management skills with proven records of scope, budget, capacity, resource planning and change management.

Good understanding of various phases of Software Development Lifecycle.

Sound understanding of Agile concepts with at least 2 years of experience in managing projects with Agile Methodologies.

Good experience of working with multiple teams and collaborating across geographically spread multi-functional teams

Hands on experience of working with Project Management Tools i.e. Microsoft Project, JIRA etc.

Communication/Documentation

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Sound in Project documentation including creating and publishing Status / Matrices

Technical

Awareness of handling Project in Web and ERP space.

Awareness of .Net Framework, J2EE and Object Oriented programming concepts.

Role & Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum events: Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Release Planning, Roadmap Planning etc.

Coach team members to properly define and estimate Stories, while assisting the Product Owner to continually keep a sufficient set of stories defined and estimated.

Coach the teams on Agile practices and encourage adoption and build an environment that fosters Agile.

Collaborate with IS Teams and product owners to create a collaborative scrum environment.

Provide thought leadership around Agile best practices to internal teams and management.

Fine tune Agile processes to deliver successfully within the corporate culture.

Provide leadership and direction to the teams, business partners and management, and empower the teams to self- organize.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

B.Tech/B.E/M.C.A/M.Tech/MS. - Computers, Electronics/Telecommunications

Experience: 8-12 years
