Program Manager - Digital Transformation


OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE :

To define and drive transformative agenda in sales or servicing operations of the organisation, with a keen eye on the potentiality of technology and a "What's next?" mindset

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Problem Solving

- Articulation of problem statements from amorphous information received from business stakeholders

- Preparation of crisp requirement documents for the technology team

- Problem solve - with tech-based approaches - in collaboration with all stakeholders. Solutions may lead to development of new digital products, adjustments / alterations in existing systems, or largescale process or platform revamps and implementations

- KPI Definition :

- Define success criteria for solution undertaken

- Devise and deploy measurement methodology in alignment with the solution being implemented

Project Management :

- Driving action during the development and testing phases in collaboration with the technology team

- Providing visibility to all stakeholders during development and testing phases - including top management

Product Management :

- For any digital products in circulation, constantly identify the next set of features that will provide more value to the user

- Deliver features with measurements and success criteria in place

- Fail fast OR bring scale to success stories

INTERACTIONS :

Internal Relations : Business heads, cross-functional project teams, Technology team representatives, and top Mgmt

External Relations : Vendor Partners

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS :

Educational Qualifications :

- Graduation Any, if there is an MBA with relevant work-ex; otherwise BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (IT) needed

- Post-Graduation : MBA (preferred); Any other is ok in case there is relevant work ex.

Work Experience (relevant) :

- 2 years + in Product Mgmt, Process Excellence, or Business Solutions Group of any BFSI sector organisation in India (Life Insurance and General Insurance preferred). Those with experience of consulting for the BFSI sector are also encouraged to apply

Certifications : Not necessary, but any demonstrated efforts in enhancing knowledge in areas like Design Thinking, DevOps, Agile, AI/ML, Product Mgmt etc. will be looked at positively

Other skills :

Interpersonal :

- Ability to declutter and articulate precisely

- Excellent written communication skills

- Very good storytelling skills

- Two modes of functioning required - "Calm" mode and "Fire" mode

Technology skills :

- Understanding of Web Applications, Mobile applications, micro-services and API economy

- Understanding of SDLC (software development life cycle)

- Knowledge and experience of various Project Management Methodologies
