Program Manager - Business Excellence - IIM/MDI/ISB/FMS
- The Business Excellence Manager supports, coordinates and facilitates structured process improvement activities aligned to our business goals. He or she fosters a culture of continuous improvement, providing thought leadership and influencing change at all levels in the organization.
- The successful candidate for this role will be a fast, clear and independent thinker who is naturally curious about how things work, is metrics and number savvy has an analytical mindset and has demonstrated leadership ability. This person will need an ability to see the big picture/whole system and execute on grass root level to improve the overall network. Additionally, they are never satisfied with the status quo, can show success in following-up and getting things done and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric and ever-changing marketplace environment.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Leads and supports business & profitability improvement projects.
- Performs quantitative analysis of key business indicators to identify opportunities for business improvement.
- Understand each aspect of the vendor manager and ISM roles from end-to-end in depth in relation to the Consumables business
- Identify gaps in goals vs actuals and understand root causes
- Work directly with Vendors where required to drive improvements in operations
- Work directly with other teams in Marketplace to influence key metrics & Actions leading to profitability impact.
- Index very high on analysis and root causing to predict the potential impact of events
- Stake Holder Management: Work with cross functional teams to drive over action plans
Education & Experience:
- Post-Graduation degree from a premier institute with 6+ years of overall experience
- Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques will be a bonus
- Mastery of SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Excellence with RCA tools like PDCA, Fish Bone, Why - Why and any other six- sigma tools
- Ability to translate gaps into execution plans and take them to completion
- Willing to take calculated risks to grow the category
- Proven coordination & influencing skills and able to lead without authority
