Program Manager - Aggregate Data Strategy - Financial Domain

Proposed Title: Program Manager, Aggregate Data Strategy

Designation: Senior Manager

Reporting to: CEO

Role Objective:

We are looking for someone who has experience with India Data Landscape to drive the creation of aggregate data by being an interface between the businesses, Group Data & Analytics Cell and External Data Vendors to create a unified, aggregate data asset. The primary objective would include enabling group-wide Data Strategy by identifying internal and external data sources which can be leveraged by practitioners and used by business leaders.

Job Description:

The primary focus is in three key areas:

- Aggregate Data Asset Creation

- Help the group create a unified, aggregated data asset and turn individual data into privacy compliant aggregate data

Data Procurement -

- Identify internal data sources that can be leveraged and aggregated for group wide use

- Research and identify external data sources to create aggregate data at a predefined level to help businesses understand true market potential

- Continuously augment the data asset by identifying startups and other sources that provide aggregate data

 Data Governance and Privacy - 

- Thoroughly perform the necessary due diligence in terms of legal on the data vendors before procuring the data

- Ensure all data privacy laws and regulations are taken into consideration when combining data

- Formulate a strategy to aggregate data from highly regulated industries

Other : 

- Ability to drive multiple programs with internal stakeholders with tight control of costs and timelines.

- Provide time-bound 360-degree communication with Program status and Risks

- Co-develop and maintain leading standards for assessing value of data and identifying its potential uses (from supply and demand perspectives).

- Drive program level cadence with clearly articulated metrics like timeline, budgets, risks etc.

- Strive towards obtaining cost and project efficiencies by having a clear long range roadmap.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS -

Qualification & Core Skills requirement :

- Bachelors or Masters with minimum of 7+ years of overall experience

- Must thoroughly understand the India Data Landscape (External Vendors, Privacy Laws, Regulations, Data Quality issues etc.)

- Must have worked in a relevant business in India (Epsilon, CIBIL etc.)

Leadership Skills :

- Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking and problem solving.

- Ability to demonstrate past successful collaboration on multiple projects.

- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proven ability to work with and influence peers and more senior leaders without direct authority.

- Strong Communication skills and ability to confidently communicate a point of view.

- Comfortable working at the CIO / CTO levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the Technology executives and vendors in a range of environments.

- Should possess an impressive executive demeanor, a team oriented and collaborative approach, and excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities.

- The individual should have demonstrated entrepreneurial instinct with a strong understanding of operating and scaling a business.
