Job Description :

- Creating solutions and delivering strategic intiatives to help OSS BU and Rakuten Symphony improve their business performance in terms of operations, profitability, management, structure and strategy

Key Initiatives :

As a Senior consultant within the OSS BU, you will be required to guide and provide industry point of view and build deliverables on below key initiatives:

Product Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic product roadmap, including recommendations for product focus, enhancements, or retirements.

Pricing Strategy: Formulate and execute pricing strategies to optimize revenue and market competitiveness.

Organization Strategy and Design: Shape and guide the organizational strategy and design to ensure alignment with business objectives, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Financial Management: Oversee financial processes, including budgeting, controls, and reporting. Create and manage Profit and Loss (PL) statements for the OSS business unit.

Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute an effective go-to-market strategy for products and services to reach target markets efficiently working collaboratively with Sales Teams.

Roles & Responsibilites :

As a Senior consultant within the OSS BU, you will be required to do below activities:

- Provide industry perspective and knowledge on defining the OSS BU strategy and driving the various initiatives

- Conduct structured problem analysis, conduct required interviews, research and data gathering to identify best suited solution

- Create a clear roadmap and liaison with internal departments for successful implementation of the solutions identified

- Execute continuous project status tracking and communication, targeted and timely elevation of potential risks and issues across multiple teams and with project stakeholders

- Manage stakeholders during execution phase and help the team liaison with other groups for successful delivery

- Provide support to various divisions by proposing global best practices based on the type of the problem statement and requirement

- Mentor team members across project and professional development

Minimum Qualifications:

- 10+ years of consulting experience with good understanding of Telecom industry and strong consulting skills, preferably with a focus on OSS or related areas.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data. Exceptional project management and organizational skills.

- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and PL management.

- Strong communication and leadership skills to drive change within the organization.

- In-depth knowledge of telecom industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape

- Strong communication and presentation skills including Storylining

Educational Qualifications: BE / BTech / ME / MTech + MBA from tier I/ tier II B-school

Preffered Qualification : Program and Project Management skills

- Experience of working in international, highly diverse environments
