Position Purpose:
Define and deliver the Startup vertical led strategy with overall responsibility of creating and executing the Business model and Sales Processes. Ensure a stable, recurring revenue generating business with a compliant portfolio through the India Start up club Proposition.
Qualifications Essential
Post Graduate:
Experience Essential:
- 6-10 years of experience in Business & Product Management
- Understanding of the working of the technology led payment solutions, Cash management services and process flows relating to channels would be preferred.
- Knowledge owner - Regulatory framework especially in the liabilities, Forex and payments space.
- Should have managed implementation of process and system functionalities & training as part of the job.
- Established experience in working with multiple stake holders and vendors
- Connections with VC Firms and Start-up Ecosystem
Skills:
Leadership skills, team player, detail oriented, self-motivated individual Working knowledge of Microsoft Office B. Functional Inter-linkages Internal & External Liaise with BSG, Operations, Product user groups, internal IT team, Legal, Compliance and external vendors
Position Responsibilities:
- Own the complete "India Start up club" proposition & budgets. Liaise with Product team BSG, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, BIU to enhance the product and sales process.
- Identity relevant partners in the startup space for engaging with the start-ups. Network with VC, PE, Investor community, accelerators, incubators to build to the start up eco system.
- Manage a team of Area Managers who will be responsible to train branches and drive business in respective markets
- Train and guide Area Managers on new development in the Digital Space which will help them engage with start-up ecosystem effectively
- Drive the business for India Start-up Club through Area Manager Startup Team, Zonal teams & the branches. Identify new start up market. Manage start up branch usage. Work with product team take new initiatives and continuously enhance the India Start-up Club Offering.
- Continuously interact with internal stakeholders and senior management to generate references/ leads from them & conversion of leads to clients.
- Enable the Branches by organising training through Area managers. The trainings should cover update on the start-up ecosystem in respective markets, new process, initiates, etc.
- Plan and manage customer engagement activities like customer interactive sessions, newsletters, events, awareness and marketing programs for startups. Preparation of marketing and promotional collaterals to complement acquisition & relationship programs.
- Manage certain key relationships and partnership directly along with Area Managers
- Startup Brand Management : Promote the start up proposition in various forums and contribute effectively to build the brand to reflect a bank which clearly stands out in partnering start-ups
