Description - Looking to hire a Director/Senior director for programme management manufacturing

Client Details :

Our client is a unicorn start-up which has diversified businesses in the Automobile and Transport industries, and they are based out of Bangalore. They are now investing heavily in the Electric Vehicle business and are planning to launch a passenger vehicle soon.

Description :

Reporting into VP/Senior VP, you will be responsible for -

- Planning and overseeing the manufacturing procedures, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow and establishing and enforcing the overall program timeline, milestones and objectives, across all function

- Continuously monitoring and measuring project processes and activities to ensure no delays to the project and that potential risks are identified in a timely manner

- Overseeing the coordination and communicating key project metrics to the broader organisation including Engineering, Finance and Supply Chain and responsible for tracking progress on initiatives and driving accountability

- Leading all cost reduction and all process improvement efforts and Ensuring timely deliverable, and adjust plans to minimise impact to the program by risk mitigation and contingency planning strategies

- Leading business process analysis, process and system strategy definition, requirement documentation, internal/external stakeholder alignment, and execution planning and Overseeing the development of products from concept to production by communicating with clients, reviewing designs, overseeing engineering plans, and ensuring that all materials are available for production

Profile :

Ideally you are an engineer (mechanical or related), Master's degree is preferred, with 12+ years of experience in relevant senior engineering position and have worked in EV operating parameters. You have solid experience in program management for manufacturing and have overseen the concept to production by managing multiple stakeholders.

In addition to this, must have worked on various cost reduction and increase in productivtiy projects across the value chain. You are a great communicator with an attitude of problem solving. You have a great track record and are open to new challenges.
