Program Director - Risk & Compliance - BFSI

Opportunity for Program Director for Risk & Compliance to be based in Bangalore/Hyderabad.

A distinguished client a captive shared services division catering to the BFSI sector, is in search of a Program Director for Risk and Compliance, to be stationed in either Hyderabad or Bangalore.

Role details:

- Stay up to date with laws, regulations, and industry standards that affect the organization, including local, national, and international laws.

- Ensure the organization complies with relevant regulations, including sector-specific rules.

- Develop and implement effective compliance programs and policies that guide the organization's operations and reduce risk.

- Create internal guidelines and procedures to help employees understand and adhere to legal and ethical requirements.

- Regularly update compliance policies to reflect changing regulations and emerging risks.

- Conduct regular internal audits to assess whether the organization's operations are in compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

- Collaborate with legal, HR, and other departments to take corrective actions, including disciplinary measures or revising policies to prevent future violations.

Skills required:

- At least 18-25 years of progressive experience in compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or a related field is usually required. This includes experience in designing, implementing, and managing compliance programs.

- Certification like (CCEP, CRCM, CIPP etc ) would be an added advantage.

- Strong leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of leading compliance teams and working cross-functionally with other departments, such as legal, HR, finance, and operations.
