Our client is a fast growing Indian B2B e-commerce start up in the space of Industrial products. With sound backing from Ratan Tata the company is funded by SeedPlus, Accel Partners and Jungle Ventures. This accelerating start up is involved in the procurement of industrial products like power tools, electrical devices and industrial lubricants.
With a zeal to expand the business PAN india, the company is looking out to have Profit Center Heads for South (Chennai) and West (Pune) zones.
Your role will include following responsibilities:
Heading the zone for Sales, business development and revenue generation.
Shoulder the accountability of P&L for the assigned territory.
Generate revenues through strategic partnerships across segments and vendor development.
Building up business by appointing new sales representatives and working on sales matrix for the allocated zone.
Managing metrics like Profitability, %SOB
Strategic collaborations with clients and vendors for achieving online and offline sales.
Achieve sales revenue targets / turnovers.
Desired Candidate Profile:
B.Tech / B.E + MBA from tier-1 college is a must with sales experience in Manufacturing / Auto/ Industrial product companies.
Experience of account management and P&L handling is a must.
As a zone profit center head, one should be well versed with the local geographies and languages i.e. fluency is speaking Tamil for Chennai location and Marathi for Pune location.
Risk taking capability with a zeal to grow the business from scratch
