Production Planner - Manufacturing Firm

Experience - 5 years to 10 years.

Job location - Visakhapatnam

- Preferred competencies - Stockpile management, Safety and Environment regulations, 5S, TQM, Good communication skills, Liasioning skills.

- The candidate should possess expertise in managing stockpiles efficiently, ensuring optimal storage conditions, and coordinating with management to meet production requirements.

- Supervise the stacking of iron ore pellets in designated stockpile areas.

- Implement best practices for efficient storage, including proper mixing/layering of pellets

- Conduct continuous inspections to assess stockpile conditions and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations to avoid complaints

- Prepare detailed reports on stockpile operations, including stacking, reclamation, and fines intake.

- Maintain comprehensive records of production dates, chainages, and other relevant data for traceability and customer information.

- Manpower management - all stacker, reclaimer and conveyor operators including casuals

- Sound knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards applicable to stockpile operations.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.

- Maintain accurate data of fines incoming including Fe content, quantity, and chainage of tippling along with date.

- Prepare comprehensive reports on fines stacking operations, including Fe content analysis, internal movements, and deviations if any in the weighments.

- Implement strategies to stack different materials separately in designated plots of stockpile

- Coordinate with management to identify material types, such as high-Fe fines, low-Fe fines, and other bulk materials, and allocate appropriate storage locations.

- Coordinating with Ports team during vessel loading and planning for improving loading rates by avoid unwanted delays in the system

- Maintaining and improving 5S standards at stockpile and other areas of plant as per the management directive
