Production Head

Key Responsibilities:

Operations:

- Adhere to the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and meet internal operational KPIs.

- Develop production schedules to optimize capacity utilization

- Ensure full capacity utilization in collaboration with project planning.

- Ensure optimum utilization of materials for cost-effective procurement

- Design and implement plant-specific processes / SOPs and policies to meet quality standards.

- Resolve production constraints to ensure timely delivery to customers and meet plant targets.

- Create and maintain dashboards for tracking production, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.

- Work on continual improvement process and productivity improvement for the Unit

- Oversee the maintenance of facilities to ensure optimal output.

- Vendor development for manufacturing of Pressure / Non pressure parts inside the plant.

Customer Engagement :

- Interact with customers during plant visits and present plant capabilities.

- Address customer feedback with effective corrective and preventive actions.

Employee Management:

- Plan manpower needs and participate in the recruitment process.

- Ensure on-the-job training and conduct performance reviews.

- Motivate and engage the team to achieve ambitious targets.

- Monitor performance at individual, team, and plant levels to meet organizational objectives.

Safety:

- Establish systems to meet safety KPIs and legal requirements.

- Conduct regular shop rounds to ensure safety compliance.

- Safety awareness programs

Role Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- 20-25 years of relevant work experience, with stability in the last two assignments.

- Experience managing manufacturing operations as a Production Head for 8-10 years.

- Proven track record in organizations of repute, managing sites with 500+ employees.

- Strong focus on world-class manufacturing systems and processes.

- Must be willing to relocate with family to Navsari/Surat.
