Role requirements:
- Minimum 12 plus years of hands-on analytics experience solving complex business problems using data
- PhD or Master's degree from reputed university in statistics, economics, mathematics or any other quantitative fields
- Strong analytical skills with business analysis experience or equivalent. In depth knowledge and understanding of financial-services/banking-operations is a must
- Proven track record of managing teams and driving output quality
- Has very good commercial understanding of the lending products (cards, loans & mortgages)
- Ability to synthesise BRDs and make recommendations on the commercial benefit realisation
- Individuals with credit risk background and retail banking analytics is an added advantage.
- Managing large scale transformation projects with multi market exposure on the lending side is an added plus
- Coding skills in SAS, Python, R, SQL etc. would be essential
- Collaborate with partners across business groups, evaluate emerging techniques that may contribute to existing analytics capabilities and computational models.
- Proven leadership track record in dynamic/changing banking environments, ability to navigate through organisational challenges
- Ability to nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Strong project management skills with experience of working across cross functional discipline
- Exceptionally strong organizational, problem-solving & inter-personal skills. Ability to communicate clearly across various levels including senior stakeholders
