Legal - Product Owner - Matter Management Tool
Product Owner will play a pivotal role in managing the successful deployment and adoption of a new Matter Management Tool within the Legal department in all the Operations Centres across globe. This individual will be responsible for overseeing change management initiatives, documentation, design management, and ensuring effective implementation of Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Change Management:
- Drive change management initiatives associated with the deployment of the new Matter Management Tool across all legal entities worldwide.
Documentation and Design:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and design specifications for the tool, ensuring alignment with business requirements and legal processes.
Agile Methodology:
- Demonstrate strong expertise in Agile methodologies and effectively apply them to the project lifecycle.
International Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with legal teams and stakeholders in various global locations, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including legal leadership, IT teams, and end-users.
Travel:
- Be prepared to travel internationally to support change management efforts and ensure successful tool adoption.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in product ownership or a similar role, preferably within a legal or compliance context.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an international environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in legal or compliance-related roles.
- Knowledge of legal matter management processes and tools.
- Experience working with global teams in different time zones.
- A track record of successful change management initiatives.
- 12-15 years experience.
