Who needs to understand and help define the vision of organizations customer service and should lead the design and development of back-end & customer support systems that are (1) compliant with UK regulations, (2) loved by customers and (3) make life really easy for organisation service support agents.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of best-in-class customer service experience in banking / financial services (BFSI), the technologies / FX industry / systems / processes.

Product development & delivery:
- Responsible for ideation, planning & execution
- Collaborate with customers & colleagues to develop new ideas for features & products
- Prioritise features & products based on customer, commercial & strategic value
- Communicate product performance to stakeholders
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Deep research of user needs, the market & technology
- Model the value of product improvements to the customer and Currency cloud
- Develop and get buy-in for the product strategy
- Sequence new features & product improvements in a roadmap
Generate, maintain & prioritize the Product Backlog:
- Identify real customer problems to be solved through ideation with customers & colleagues
- Turn customer problems into a Product Backlog
- Gather detailed requirements relating to new features & products
- Turn requirements into the artefacts developers need to get new features & products to market: e.g. user stories, process maps and detailed workflows
- Refine the Product Backlog by ensuring each user story has acceptance criteria
- Prioritise & maintain the Product Backlog
Drive the delivery of the Product Strategy & Product Backlog:
- Deliver the specification of projects needed to ship new features & products
- Participate in all agile ceremonies: standups, planning, reviews & retrospectives
- Facilitate discussions across the agile delivery team to ensure problems are solved and blockers unblocked
- Communicate performance

You'll be a great fit if:
- You've shipped market-leading products in a fast-growing fintech company before as a Senior Product Owner, Head of Product or a similar position.
- You have 7+ years cumulative experience in consulting, product, a start-up, or other function where the core of the business was a technical product.
- You're a product evangelist: obsessed with the end user, well-versed in best product research and development practices and are willing to share your knowledge with other product owners.
- You are organised and pragmatic, capable of leading a technical interdisciplinary team; we're after someone who's not afraid to get their hands dirty and remove any blockers that might be on the critical path to shipping.
- You're comfortable working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch.
- You deeply understand agile product development best practices.
