Product Marketing Manager opening in a leading global service provider for accelerating content and business processes online. The company has created the world's largest and most widely used on-demand distributed computing platform, with more than 14,000 servers in 1,100 networks in 65+ countries.

JD & Responsibilities:
- Execute go-to-market product marketing activities in line with the product business plan.
- Manage a team of 3-6 members located in Bangalore. Provide performance coaching and feedback, product marketing leadership and mentoring.
- Partner with Regional Sales Manager(s) and Service Line leaders to monitor pipeline and drive strategic programs.
- Drive development plans and performance reviews for the team.
- Own resource planning, assignment and team metrics.
- Drive development of relevant product collateral such as product data sheets, presentations, sales tools and technical white papers tailored for the local market.
- Manage and deliver launch communications, including field training, productivity materials, internal systems and external messaging support.
- Drive, manage and track sales productivity initiatives and campaigns.
- Cross-functional collaboration with APJ Sales, Channel, Marketing Communications & Marketing Programs.
- Remain current to trends and issues as they relate to the product offering as well as emerging technologies, standards, and market trends.
- Work closely with Sales to understand the needs of the marketplace; help to formulate future Product Marketing strategies and tactics.
- Educate and train Sales and Channel teams.
- Engage the relevant media in APJ as thought-leader and spokesperson.
- Attend relevant industry trade-shows, sponsorship and customer meetings.
- 25 30% travel is required.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline, MBA preferred
- Experience: 12+ years of professional experience
- 1-3 years experience with managing a team
- 8+ years of Product Marketing or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience working with one of more of the following industries Media, Commerce, High-tech, FSI, B2B Enterprises or equivalent experience
- Must be highly self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient
- Understanding of Internet related technologies
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment while managing many projects
Desired Qualifications
- High degree of marketing expertise and business acumen.
- Very fluent in technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad range of technical and business audiences
- Experience with Enterprise / B2B products and the market.
- Ability to gather data from the market and customers, and analytically determine business priorities.
- A proven history of growing revenue through Product Marketing initiatives for both new and mature product lines.
- Situational fluency, ability to influence and motivate others, and perseverance in handling challenging business situations and motivate others, and perseverance in handling challenging business situations.
