Jobs Responsibility.

Product Communication Support

- Support the Product Management team with the product development process through benchmarking exercises on competitive products & communication.

- Develop an understanding of competitive solutions and work closely with the Product Management team to create strategies to differentiate products and product communication.

- Spearhead the positioning and value proposition development process for products in the development pipeline.

- Generate product-based messaging and collateral (i.e., product brochures, technical fact sheets, website content, product presentations, etc.) to articulate the product value proposition to prospective customers.

Product Launch Management

- Spearhead implementation of product launches so as to enable maximum visibility and sales momentum for new products.

- Develop the launch blueprint for new products, working directly with the channels and other departments as necessary, to ensure that the product positioning, key benefits, distribution dynamics, target customers and business objectives are clearly understood and addressed through efforts in all areas.

- Drive the development and rollout of collateral and sales aids for product launches and conduct training of distribution teams to ensure effective utilization of the sales material.

Sales Efficiency Support – Communication Development

- Help improve sales efficiency of sales staff and channel partners by developing and updating selling pitches for existing products through aids and training presentations.

- Develop innovative sales collateral and advice tools and refresh when required. Provide collateral support to the channel for tactical sales promotions.

- Ensure continuous availability of sales collateral with the sales teams.

- Provide support to the channels to enable effective usage of sales collateral through refresher training sessions with trainers and sales personnel.

Research

- Continually track and study the insurance consumer in terms of insights, buyer personas and the buying cycle.

- Study the insurance seller in terms of seller personas and selling behaviours. Develop research data sheets, white papers and other related material for regular update and dissemination.

- Conduct regular audits of IDBI Federal and competition product collateral through field visits, field research and user feedback.
