We are currently recruiting for an experienced product manager to lead our Vehicle Finance initiatives. The individual will lead company's Vehicle Finance initiatives by creating new products in Two-wheeler loan, small commercial vehicle and used commercial vehicle, aligned to our customer segment and needs.
Broad Roles and Responsibilities :
- Develop customer facing new products in Vehicle Finance line of products for the organization aligned to company vision and business plan
- Understand customer requirements related to product and translate them into costeffective, feasible product/ technical solutions
- Identify white spaces in the market/ gaps in portfolio and generate suitable new product concepts to take advantage of the white space/ gap through long-range product planning
- Create roadmaps for each of the product initiatives and work towards continuous evolution of the products
- Identify strategic, high value features and functionalities through customer research, analysis, and competitive insights
- Develop the right marketing and user adoption strategy for all digital products that will drive adoption by our customers and prospects
- Manage technical partners both internal and external to ensure deliveries of products are tracked and monitored and other external relationships
- Manage all projects from customer need identification, kickoff, MVP and KPI definition, design, development, and launch
- Create all product requirements, user stories, opportunity assessments, feature prioritization and business justification for initiatives
- Work closely with technology, business, operations, and other cross-functional partners both internal and external to design, build, and deploy product features
- Design and undertake regular qualitative and quantitative customer research; Conduct regular customer review and analyses of products and services to ensure they are meeting customer needs
- Using data and insight, develop visions for future development of products to deliver greater value to users
- Track and analyse relevant industry data points like market trends/ segment shifts (Indian & global), consumer trends, competitor activities/ products, regulatory trends etc.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree in business / technology from a top tier institution. MBA would be a plus.
- Overall 8 - 10 years of experience with atleast, last 3 years in product management specifically in Vehicle Finance products in banks / NBFCS.
- Good knowledge of Small Commercial Vehicles segment (3-Wheeler, Mini Trucks, Pickups / Mini Vans, Vans) and Two-Wheeler segment in India including market, competition, customer, regulation & trends
- High levels of curiosity and a research mind-set
- Basic knowledge of new product development cycle; Experience drafting Product Requirements Documents and Ability to effectively communicate complex processes within and across teams
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail
- Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills
- Should be result Oriented & Impact driven mindset
