Key Responsibilities:

1) Understands the Market

- Communicates with customers/ potential customers

- Understand customer/ product complaints and work towards rectification through product improvements or new products

- Identifies new product opportunities in the market

- Tests / Trials own products and that of competition regularly

2) Develops Market-Based Product Strategies

- Conducts extensive Research (mostly secondary)

- Is aware of and understands the competition

- Identifies product gaps vis-vis the competition

3) Bridges Every Department That Touches Product viz.,Sales, Market Communication, Technical, Quality & Design, Customer Service & Operations4) Full Responsibility

- Capture and Prioritizes Product Ideas & Improvements

- Opportunity Assessment

- Immerse in User Insights, Brand Development, Market Requirements / Customer Stories

- Work on Business Case / Investment Justification

- Design Product Requirements - Capable to match product features to application needs

- Build Subject Matter Expertise for the assigned product line

- Launch Internal Training

- Explore Market Strategy & External Customer Research

- Prepare Marketing Plan, Sales Collaterals & External Marketing Communication

5) Shared Responsibility

- Market Analysis (Competition, Trends, etc) through secondary research and drive clarity by collating information from relevant stakeholder

6) Contributes to

- Market Strategy

- External Customer Research

- Business Requirements

- Managing projects

- New product testing and launch

Candidate Profile:

- Education: B.Tech + MBA

- Experience: 4-6 years of total experience in Product management or related roles in tyre/OEM companies

- Proven experience in owning and managing products across entire lifecycle

- Superlative in MS office

- Excellent Communication / Interpersonal skills

- Go-getter and result oriented

- Self-starter and team player
