- Our client is India's largest travel community. The website of this travel community is powered by actual traveller feedback contributed by the large number of members of this community.

- They recently got merged with wego (www.wego.com), a Singapore based travel search engine and as a merged entity they are planning to expand their community of travelers outside India and covering South East Asia as a tourist destination for the world.

Role: Product Manager

Our client is in search for a best-in-class Product Manager to play a pivotal role in defining our business. This leader will create, manage, and define innovative products and customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be a proven self-starter who is comfortable operating at a fast pace, is detail oriented, and can execute excellence. This position is located in our Bangalore office.

Responsibilities:

- Define, develop, and drive the product strategy and roadmap

- Lead discovery of customer needs by partnering with executive and cross-functional teams

- Specify business and product requirements, including wireframes and storyboards

- Collaborate with UI, design, and technology teams to develop tools and features

- Measure and analyze new and existing competitors in order to serve as an expert in the e-commerce retail space

- Review usability test results, track online usability bugs and define areas for constant enhancement and optimization within the user experience

Requirements:

- 7+ years of product management experience with strong preference for candidates who have experience both with a high traffic B2C ecommerce sites as well as start up experience.

- At least 4 yrs of proven track record of managing and launching innovative products and features

- Exceptional communication skills with both business and technical teams

- Must have strong product instincts, decision-making skills, and a detailed-oriented personality

- Energetic self-starter, innovative thinker, aggressive executor

- Low ego, proven collaborative team player who can also lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and at budget

- Experience with web analytic tools

- Email optimization or newsletter management experience is a plus

- BS in technology and/or MBA preferred
