Product Management:
- Build and commercialize existing and new product capabilities by understanding business drivers.
- Identify new business opportunities and create a consistent revenue stream.
- Responsible for planning, development, and implementation of product programs in consultation with key stakeholders within the Bank.
- To constantly enhance and innovate existing product capabilities to address changing customer requirements and increase product competitiveness.
- Support Relationship Managers to provide transaction banking solutions to corporate customers and provide alternative solutions.
Analytics:
- Continually identify opportunities to improve client efficiency and performance, service, product solutions, utilization and optimizing Transaction Banking portal usage, cross-selling, etc,
- Benchmark our capabilities against other Banks in the region on an ongoing basis so as to maintain a competitive edge.
- Understand local market trends through external sources, governing bodies, participation in industry conferences, etc. so as to enhance product capabilities.
- To monitor and report product performance in terms of volume, value, and revenue.
- Responsible to maintain product MIS for accurate management reporting.
P&L:
- Responsible for transaction banking product revenue, growth, and profitability.
- Review product pricing strategy on a regular basis so as to ensure profit maximization.
Customer Service:
- Conduct service reviews to identify and close gaps between customers- needs and delivery.- Implementation of service and efficiency improvement initiatives with all relevant stakeholders and facilitate the transfer of best practices.
- Review service performance with the customers and identify ways to continuously improve service level standards as well as customer efficiency.
Information Technology:
- Act as a Project Manager for all Transaction Banking projects. Prepare and document business requirements for new/existing products and solutions in coordination with internal teams.
- Networking with various business technology vendors and update on the current trends to the Bank.
- Understand the bank's infrastructure to ensure that operations and systems are able to support the products launched.
- Review customer portal on an ongoing basis and solicit customer feedback in order to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Head Transaction Banking from time to time
Education/ Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate/PG in any discipline
- Certifications in Trade & Supply Chain Finance preferred.
Experience
Required:
- At least 10 to 12 years of banking experience in product management capacity specialized in Trade & Supply Chain Finance.
- Experience in creating and maintaining product programs involving various stakeholders.
- Abreast of all governing rules and regulatory requirements relating to Trade & Supply Chain Finance.
- Knowledge and understanding of global product features and the ability to fit the same as per local requirements.
- Good understanding of system functionalities and implications of accounting entries.
Skills:
- A highly-motivated self-starter with strong analytical, interpersonal, negotiation and organization skills.
- Strong writing, presentation, communication skills with good spoken and written English
