Product Manager - Tractor Finance (credit side)
Job Purpose :
Functional Role : Product Manager , Tractor
Qualification : Post Graduate/MBA (Premium Institute) or any qualification in similar field.
Vertical : Farm Equipment/Agri.
Location : Corporate office
Department : Product Management
Relevant Experience : 5 to 7 Yrs. of experience in Product Management, preferable from Banking domain.
Functional Competencies :
- In-depth understanding of the product, product lifecycle, designing, Market Strategies and geographies.
- Analytical skills and comfortable in working with MS Office.
Stakeholder Management :
- Working & coordination with Cross functional teams.
- Keen knowledge about products of different manufacturers and their variants. Be able to understand technical differences and decide on offering based on the same.
Behavioral Competencies :
- Foster collaborative work culture with sales, credit, Marketing, Digital and other departments.
- Adaptable to changing business requirements.
- Responsibly Entrepreneurial, Inclination towards Action and Urgency.
Job Responsibilities :
Financial & Non Financial Responsibilities :
- Responsible of product policies and processes and ensure implementation of the same.
- Review of defined matrix, development, streamlining work flows, competition bench marking and adopting best strategies.
- Product modifications and field level escalations to be managed Pertaining to product/policy norms.
- Monitoring of Distribution, Business team on business no's, Quality sourcing, revenue and hygiene.
- Preparing various reports as business indicators for tracking progress in terms of budgeted Vs actual achievement.
- Designing and development of all products and schemes.
- Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, answering questions and requests.
- Frequent study on changing market dynamics, and peer product study and publishing reports.
- Manufacturer strategic alliance & tie-ups.
Compliance & Risk Responsibilities :
- Seeking compliance of the various internal control policies and bringing adequate changes in policies for smooth workflow and prevent error / fraud.
- Maintaining confidentiality of company's information - not to be shared with anybody out of office in any form (verbal, written mail or any other form).
- Safeguard of company assets provided for serving job responsibilities, like Identity Card, SIM, Marketing material, Computer Systems, Company provided Mobile and printer.
- Maintaining confidentiality of information gathered from clients.
