Objective of the Role: Manage the overall performance of the brand in terms of Sales and Branding. Provide inputs to the Design, Product and Supply Chain team to meet the overall performance criteria for the Brand.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyse macro environment trends, consumer behaviours, internal business imperatives, and industry scenario, and develop an annual business plan.
2. Work with Department Heads / Regional Heads of each sales verticals to achieve the business plan for the Brand.
3. Identify and articulate consumer needs through market research.
4. Analyse data and provide inputs for growth prospects, change in brand positioning, brand health.
Analyse industry trends, market competitiveness of products and SKUs, consumer requirements and identify gaps in the current brand portfolio
5. Launch New Line with existing customers and Existing line with New Customers - working in tandem with sales team.
6. Commercial roll outs, pre-post evaluation of launch, implementation of New Product / Range
7. Formulate & Execute marketing mix for new launches in coordination with the Marketing team.
Evaluate need for trade promotion by analysing purchase pattern of dealers / distributors and competitive landscape for trade promotion schemes.
8. Conceptualize consumer promotion schemes and execute along with the marketing team. Track and report on competitive activities and developments and propose any activities to counter the same.
9. Interact with customers to identify the root cause of market complaints, and coordinate with various functions to address consumer complaints.
