Product Manager for India's largest private sector company
Our client is one of India's largest private sector company, and is the first telecom operator to hold pan India Unified License. They are setting up a pan India telecom network to provide to the highly underserviced India market, reliable (4th generation) high speed internet connectivity, rich communication services and various digital services on pan India basis in key domains such as education, healthcare, security, financial services, government citizen interfaces and entertainment. They aim to provide anytime, anywhere access to innovative and empowering digital content, applications and services, thereby propelling India into global leadership in digital economy.
One of their subsidiary, digital currency and digital payments business, will play a crucial role in this by offering a platform for ubiquitous, affordable and secure digital payments.Like any other mobile wallet, it is a semi-closed prepaid wallet that will enable mobile based transactions, where customers can store money and use it for purchasing goods and services, can- t withdraw money from the wallet.
As a Product Manager, you would need to :
- Own the strategy and roadmap for a key product/business area.
- Manage all aspects of a successful software or technology product throughout its lifecycle, including product strategy development, customer insights/needs, and requirements definition
- Establish short and long- term product goals and strategies.
- Build and manage a product roadmap to support our goals and strategies
- Initiate and prioritize projects within Engineering, track product development and develop product launch plans.
- Engage closely with the Engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods and reasonable execution schedules.
- Lead all products affecting customer experience, primarily mobile, web and other channels.
- Lead market, user research; develop strategy, product roadmap and design of entirely new products and product features to deliver against team and company goals.
- Challenging all members of cross- functional teams such as Technology and Design for core product development. Also, collaborate with marketing and sales teams to define the go-- to- -market strategy and new product offerings
- Being a strong advocate of customer experience, you should understand the customer pain points and thus take responsibility of user acquisition, engagement and retention.
- Define success metrics and reporting needs to monitor post- -launch performance.

- Strong ideation and conceptualization skills
- People and project management skills
- Highly analytical & detail oriented approach and expert level Excel knowledge
- Excellent communication/presentation skills
- Experience on mobile space.
- Sound understanding of technology and engineering would be an added advantage
