Product Manager - Technology/Networking Industry

- We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a specific focus on routers to join our dynamic team in Mumbai.

- The ideal candidate will play a key role in product planning, supply chain management, sales initiatives, and overall business growth.

- You will work closely with the sales team, distributors, and the country product manager to ensure the seamless execution of product strategies and optimize the product portfolio for the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Planning:

- Understand the product portfolio from the country product manager and assess the market's competitive landscape.

- Assist the sales team in selecting the right products for various branches and markets.

- Develop and manage sales forecasts for the next 2-3 months, ensuring alignment with market demands.

Supply Chain Management:

- Monitor sales, inventory, and forecast to maintain an optimal run-rate of inventory.

- Analyze sales and inventory reports to formulate actionable plans for liquidating aging stock.

Sales Initiative:

- Lead the development of billing plans and collaborate closely with the branch sales teams to ensure successful execution.

- Identify new business opportunities to expand product reach and grow the business.

Analysis:

- Perform in-depth analysis of internal and external data to extract actionable insights for business growth.

- Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure product relevance.

Coordination:

- Align product and sales planning with the country product manager to ensure cohesive strategies.

- Work with distributors and the ASUS distribution team to guarantee the smooth supply of products in each segment.

- Collaborate with other departments within the head office as needed to support business objectives.

- Partner closely with the branch sales team to identify and act on opportunities to grow the business.

- Product Management: Experience managing product lifecycles and strategies, especially in the technology or networking industry.

- Product Branding & Pricing: Expertise in branding, pricing, and positioning products in competitive markets.

- Product Strategy & Planning: Ability to develop and execute product strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.

- Business Strategy & Market Segmentation: Experience in creating business strategies and segmenting markets effectively for product positioning.

- Router Expertise: Deep understanding of routers, market trends, and customer needs in the networking hardware space
