Role responsibilities :
Product owner for the overall Search & Discovery experience on (Web & App)
Responsible for envisioning and enhancing the Category tree structure for better Findability
Work with the Data Science team towards modelling Sorting Algorithms & the Engineering teams towards implementation
Search experience - Query interpretation and tokenisation, Navigation
Recommendations algorithms & enhancement
Personalisation of the Search/Browse experience
Enhancing Search quality & performance
Overall analytics towards deriving insights to enhance the Product discovery experience
Expectations/Requirements :
Engineer+MBA with 2-4 years experience in the Consumer internet space (E-commerce / Travel / Classifieds etc) with the most recent role dealing with Search & finding flows
Balance Consumer understanding with Technology appreciation and Business acumen
Strong in Analytics with exposure to Statistical Modelling
Ability to connect the dots and strong hypothesis generation & validation skills
Experimenting attitude & ability to learn
Outcome focused (as opposed to effort focused)
