Role : Product Manager
Location : Based in either Chennai or Mumbai
Reports to : Sr. Product Manager
Desired Experienced : 2-4 years in a B2C firm
Desired Industry : E-commerce
Desired Academic : B.E. + MBA (optional) from Top 15-20 B-Schools
Desired knowledge:
- Strong numbers orientation
- Hands-on experience with online analytics tools is required
- Strong sense of aesthetics and UX
- Ability to indirectly influence various teams without direct control, to deliver the necessary product feature set.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Job Purpose:
- The position will have a responsibility for the definition and execution of the product strategy for the business unit web and mobile products.
- The product manager will work with internal business and technology teams, as well as relevant external vendors where necessary.
- Collaborate with merchandise, marketing, design, technology and sales teams to identify market opportunities, develop product roadmaps and implementation plans, and then ensure the timely delivery of a high-quality, market-leading suite of online and mobile products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive conversions.
- Represent the company by interacting with customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
- Data-driven approach
- Create buy-in for the product vision with key stakeholders.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
