Product Manager - Product filing - Insurance

1. Working on new product / add-ons requirements of Commercial Line of business on feedback of U/w, Sales, Strategy and Actuary Team

2. Market research and comparison of various existing products / add-ons wordings available in present market

3. Creating the Product filing and support documents for submission of the PMC

4. Co-ordinating with Actuary, Compliance, Legal, Operations and claims. Teams for filing and implementation of new products

5. Assisting Product Development under various IT Systems i.e. BRD preparation, performing business UATs and providing sign-off for GO Live

6. Assisting in Product Portfolio Review and preparation of regulatory MIS

7. Training of underwriters, Operation Team and Strategy/ Sales Team force on product and processes

Span of Control:

Interfaces :

(a) Internal : Underwriting, Claims, Actuary, Compliance, Reinsurance, Operations, Sales & IT

(b) External : Insurance Intermediaries, IIB, IT Module Vendors and insurance Regulator

Skills & Competencies :

(Technical & Behavioural - Characteristics, Proficiencies etc.):

1. Must have good General Insurance product knowledge and decent amount of experience in product development

2. Knowledge of local and international coverages and practices in Commercial Line Insurance.

3. Familiarity with various regulations and statues pertaining to General Insurance business, Product filing and Compliance issues.

4. Good communication skill with good knowledge of MS Excel, power point with good English vocabulary

Qualification:

Requirement: (Min. Education, Certifications etc.)

- Graduation/ Post Graduation

- Fellow/ Associate of Insurance Institute of India or equivalent Institute

- Relevant Work-experience

Required: (No. of Years / Industry / Role / etc.)

- Minimum 4 to 6 years of work experience in General Insurance Industry
